Hello again! You’re one step closer to advocating for your child’s education!
The Operation Dandelion Kids Education Binder is easy to assemble and even easier to use. We have professionally designed tabs to create a customized binder to fit your family’s specific needs.
Follow these six simple steps to help ease the transition to your new school.
Step 1 – Print the document at your convenience.
Step 2 – Purchase a generic three-ring binder.
Step 3 – Three-hole punch each tab and insert it into the binder.
Step 4 – Write your child’s name on the cover page and insert into the front of the binder. You may also want to include a picture to put a face with a name.
Step 5 – File all your needed documents behind each specific tab.
Step 6 – You’re ready to go!
Make sure you keep your Education Binder with you as you move. Don’t let it get mistakenly packed up! Consider it one of your most important documents. The Education Binder will help ease the transition to a new school and make your life a little easier!
When you are ready to register at your new school take your Education Binder with you. Request to see the counselor or schedule a brief meeting to share your Education Binder. Offer to leave it for a few days for his review and consideration when making classroom decisions.
After your child has been placed in the appropriate classroom, give the Education Binder to your child’s teacher within the first few days of school. The detailed work you’ve put into organizing your binder will help paint a complete picture of your child’s educational needs. We promise the teacher(s) will thank you!
Use your Education Binder to continuously update your child’s records (e.g., tests, teacher notes, work samples, etc.) throughout the year. Keep it handy for your Parent-Teacher conference as well.
Good luck with your new school! We’d love to hear about your experience with your Operation Dandelion Kids Education Binder.
Always,
Becky, Stacy and Ashley
